Welcome to 2023!! It's a new year, throw the new year resolutions out the window cause lets be honest, in a month or two, you will totally fall off that band wagon, real life kicks in and all your plans, well, they're just that, plans. Better yet, start off the new year by being honest with yourself. Prioritize the things that are of the upmost importance to you like, family, faith, you, life goals etc, you get my drift.
Often times we can get into this head space that at the start of the new year we're going to do this and that, we're going to accomplish this and that, but for the longevity of it all, we start to burn out because we've place too much on our tiny plates and now we are overwhelmed. The start of something new can be fresh and exciting, but it can also become overwhelming and daunting. As wives, moms, professionals (be it Homemaker or working outside the home), we can tend to overextend ourselves by taking on too much too fast. We have to learn to pace ourselves, delegate and relinquish control, yes I said it, control, let it go! We are only one person with two arms, ten fingers and one brain and while our families look at us as super humans, we're not. So as you go into this new year with all your dreams, goals and desires, remember, prioritizing your life is going to be a major part of being successful throughout the year. Always seek God and ask Him how to go about your day, your plans because He establishes our plans and lets face it, we need all the help we can get lol.
So, my superhuman friend, remember, we need a village too, no man or woman is an island, ask for help and prioritize. Remember, Jesus is Lord, He loves you and so do I. I will see you next time.
